Lori Burke is a twenty-year veteran of the creative industry, known for her innovative approaches to developing content and incremental revenue models. Lori’s extensive industry knowledge in publishing, licensing, franchise positioning, marketing, and intellectual property development—coupled with her passion for storytelling and tenacious spirit—provide clients with an experienced leader to champion important initiatives, or complement teams working to exceed business goals.

Through her experience working closely with publishers, authors and illustrators, product innovators, gaming and entertainment producers, Lori has curated a variety of best-selling literary series ranging from pre-school to pop culture to lifestyle. She possesses an in-depth understanding of the entertainment arena and process needed to transform books beyond the page, as seen in her contributions to developing series like the Emmy award winning show The Who Was Show? currently airing on Netflix.

As a proven leader, Lori is widely regarded as a reliable collaborator. Having held dynamic executive roles at leading publishers such as Scholastic, DK Publishing, Penguin, and Random House, Lori brings essential tools for success in building platforms for audiences of all ages to engage with their favorite characters, brands, or artists.

Veronica Valois
Veronica is a creative and innovative brand storyteller with a demonstrated history of driving cross-functional strategic initiatives, building brand extension programs, leading brand creative, and developing and executing strategic campaigns. Her 17-year career spans several industries including book and magazine publishing, fashion, film & entertainment, and design.
Veronica brings her in-depth industry knowledge and broad breadth of experience to 521 Creative to guide clients in creative strategy planning and collaborate with their internal teams to identify and develop opportunities that drive the business forward.

Editorial Development Director
Sarah Fabiny
Sarah has worked in children's book publishing for over 35 years, most recently as Associate Publisher & Editorial Director at Penguin Random House. She has overseen publishing programs that include everything from board books for babies and fiction for middle schoolers, to leveled readers for beginning readers and non-fiction for tweens and teens. She is also the author of over 50 children's books, including 16 titles in the #1 New York Times best-selling series, Who Was?
